I am deeply grateful that God led me to Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of education more than twenty years ago, and I continue to be amazed by the beauty and freedom found in this way of living and learning. I have spent two decades homeschooling with Charlotte Mason’s methods, and now also serve as a Master Naturalist and enjoy capturing the wonders of creation through nature photography.

My husband, Tim, and I have been married for thirty years and live near the shores of Lake Michigan in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. We have three children: two graduates, and one still learning at home, as well as a ten-month-old grandbaby who is already teaching me fresh lessons about wonder and attention.

I love encouraging families to slow down, step outside, and discover that a living education is not about checking boxes, but about forming relationships with God, with one another, and with the beautiful world He has made.
